Our new couch

As some of you might know Mike started working at Bates, an ad agency, this month. He works four days a week with the Friday off. Normally Mike works at home on the Friday, doing his own projects. This Friday, however, we went looking for a new couch. Lene had seen one at a 2nd hand store the day before so together with the sleeping Samuel in the buggy we went looking at it. We decided the price was right, 250 kr (35 euro), it looked good, it was the right size and it was very comfortable to sit in. The only problem was how to get it home.
We borrowed a little wagon to transport it home on and we must have been quite a sight to behold walking down the street; Mike with the couch in front of him and Lene following suit with Samuel in the buggy. We finally arrived at our house, but then we didn't know how to get it up the stairs! The couch was quite heavy, so we placed it downstairs, went up stairs and called the nice missionaries. They arrived 1½ hours later, carried the couch up the stairs in 5 minutes! Hurray for the missionaries. So the picture here is of our new couch after the redecoration of our livingroom.
