We love Germany - such a lovely place. We stayed at Mikes mother and Manfred. They took excellent care of us, fed us nice food (Lene have already tried to copy some of the recipes), looked after Samuel and just spent time with us. It was great for Lene to get to know Siegrit and Manfred even better, and since Manfred only speaks a little English it was an excellent chance for Lene to practice her German.
We also went to visit the very pregnant Martha, a long-time friend of Lene. She spent the week in hospital. It was perfect for us since the hospital was close to where the wedding took place and next to a beautiful park. We are not sure Martha enjoyed the stay in the hospital as much, though.
