Our growing boy

Samuel turns 9 months this Monday and it is hard to believe that he is already that old. On the other hand it also feels like he have been here always. We so love him and we are so proud of all the little things he can do.

The sundhedsplejerske came by the other day on her last official visit. However, feel free to call me if something comes up, was her last words. She is so nice! She measured Samuel and weighed him. When he was born he was 3388 grams and 52 cm long, and he is now 8,8 kilos and 74 centimer. And he crawls, he stands up against furniture and he even walks along them. He just learned to play peek-a-boo the other day - basicly he pulls a white cloth over his face and removes it again with a great big grin and then you say boo. It is a big hit in our house. He finally figured out how to make his hippo-toy say the cool squeaky-sound. He is like the eighth wonder!

Lene shot this video just as he discovered how to make the hippo squeak. When she then played the video to him, he got really excited. He was sitting with the hippo in his hand, and everytime he squeaked in the film, he would then squeeze the hippo to make it squeak. It was almost like a little hippo symphony.
