How to spend a weekend

Last weekend we had great plans, but it seems we never have enough time to do all the things we want to. So instead of a great trip to the beach we went to the wanna-be beach aka the lakes. We visited the ducks which Samuel and Mike both enjoyed. Afterwards we went for a little walk.



Afterwards we went to a funky cafe for some hot chocolate and milkshake. Samuel definitly liked that. We taught Samuel some baby signs. So far he can only sign "drink" but he used that sign several times.



That is life in Casa De Brandt.

This weekend our great plans consisted of a good long nap and afterwards we went to the swimming pool where Samuel, Mike and me had a great time in the baby pool. Afterwards we went out for a little nice food at this lovely place. At the restaurant you order your food at the chef and then you can watch him prepare the food. We ordered our food, and I got our drinks, while Mike and Samuel watched the chef prepare our food. Samuel was sitting on the table in front of the wok and the cooks agreed that Samuel would turn out to be a great chef someday if he would be sitting there all the time. I guess we have to go back there again soon.
