Giving thanks

As most of you know, our family are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. As such we believe a Heavenly Father have created all things, and we strive to express our appreciation for all the many blessings we daily receive.

One of the ways we do this by is to say a prayer before we eat, thanking for the food we are about to eat and asking that it might be for our benefit. We normally fold our hands, close our eyes and bow our heads while we do this.

The last week or so I have just held Samuels hands still while we prayed, but yesterday as we were about to say the prayer before our lunch, Samuel folded his hands neatly. He must have seen us do it and figured it was about time to give it a try himself.

For dinner and for breakfast this morning he also folded his hands, so it seems he is getting the hang of it.

The pictures are from this morning. He looks a little tired even though he managed to sleep till 9.00. But he also have a cold, so that disturbs his sleep a little.

Have a happy weekend!
