Samuels new bedroom

Once upon a time I had a beautiful craftroom. Then we found out that a new little person was on its way down here, and we realised that we needed to use it as a bedroom for Samuel. And so we emptied the room.

I will not post the pictures of that process here, since it looked quite shocking and disturbing! Who knew I had that much stuff?

When that was done, my lovely and amazing sister helped me put down a beautiful light wooden floor.



Afterwards she volunteered to paint the room. Yes, I do realise that I am very blessed to have such a sister.

And then we prepared the room for mr. Samuel. He naturally wanted to give a hand with the cleaning, which is greatly appreciated. It would naturally help a little more if the vacuum cleaner was turned on.





He loves the vacuum cleaner and the last few days he has spend several hours playing with it. However, when it's turned on, then he is not that keen on it.

We put up a measuring chart on the back of one of the doors. It looks super cute and gives a little color to the otherwise very white room.



Mike putting up the blackout curtain, so the little one sleeps better - and as a result we also sleep better. I like blackout curtains.



The little sheep over his bed. They were in our bedroom before, and we thought it would be nice for Samuel that they moved with him to his new room. Hopefully it will make him feel safe and happy - and if nothing else then he can always count them when he can't sleep.



It almost look like a sunflower field on speed. I love the brigh colors and funky look of these flowers. And they really light up the room.



Since we have limited space in our appartment, we also have our shoes and coats in Samuels room, which you can see to the right of the picture.



If anybody is confused as to where all his toys are, then no worry. He still have a nice, big, playcorner in the living room where all his toys are. You can see his playcorner through the open door. This new room is just for sleeping.
