A lazy Sunday

This morning we woke up to a snow storm. On the news we could see that all public transport in Copenhagen was delayed and we had two sniffling and coughing children.

We decided not to go to church!

Instead we decided to have a nice and calm, lazy Sunday with the kids. Samuel is not feeling well, so we spoiled him with hot chocolate and Sesame Street on the computer. And since he was unable to go play in the snow, Mike brought the snow to him.


When the kids were having their midday nap, I spent 10 minutes on myself doing this:


A freshly baked cookie, a cup of chocolate milk and the latest copy of Ensign. I read two articles in the Ensign and I really enjoyed that. It gave me a nice "church-feeling" even though I didn't go. I miss church when I don't go!

I think I am a very fortunate woman today!

And the snow storm have stopped and the sniffles and coughing seems better so maybe we'll be able to venture out into the world tomorrow. What an exciting prospect!

By the way, those of you who might think I am a super woman for making freshly baked cookies, you have to stop that kinda of thinking this instant. I am far from it. I had Mike buy me a package of ready-made cookie dough last night.

They are very tasty though!
