New Years Eve

We had a great new years eve. Our friends Martha, Marco and their little son Alessandro came along with Mona and her two adorable girls, Hannah and Rebecca.

There was nice food, good entertainment and great company! Just the way it should be.

Marco went into the kitchen and created this:


It is Linguini al scampi - or something like that. It was divine. And the best part was that there was plenty of leftovers. Yummy!

After the pasta the kids were put to bed, and the grown ups were left to indulge in this; Chocolate pavlova with a passion fruit cream. It was delicious.



And Marco got introduced to the classic: 90 year birthday via his iPhone! Mike also seemed to enjoy it throughly.

At midnight we had a toast and some kransekage and watched the fireworks. Samuel was woken up by all the noise and we got him up to see the fireworks. The video might not show it that clearly but he loved it! He was completely mesmerized.



As you can tell he was in a great mood.
