Spot Samuel - and a nice dinner

I love getting pictures of Mike and Samuel when they are playing about in the big garden behind our appartment building. Because we live so high up and the zoom on the camera is less than impressive it can be hard to spot them at times. But you should be able to spot them on this picture.

They both love being outside, and especially enjoy it now with all the snow. Yesterday they walked down to one of the lakes that is frozen solid. A lot of people were there walking across the lake, ice skating or playing hockey. They both had a great time, even though Samuel took a tumble on the ice. When he came home he had red cheeks and shiny eyes. He looked like he had had the time of his life.

Mike got some video of the event.

Meanwhile I was taking a nap at home while my lovely, lovely sister cooked us all a fantastic meal. For christmas I had asked for dinners after the baby is born, and my clever dad gave me 4 meals; I can choose what to have and my sister will then prepare it for us.

Yesterday was the first of the meals. I choose my mothers chicken with tomatoes and parsley. My sister made a double portion and the fridge is now full of chicken, potatoes, gravy, mozzarella salad and "råkost". My mother was an excellent cook, and my sister definitly shares that trait!

I think it is one of the best christmas gifts I have ever gotten!
