Blogspot won't let me upload any pictures so the planned post with pretty pictures are rescheduled to appear later.
But important things are still happening here. Samuel started saying "Mere" which means more. And not only can he say it, but he also uses it to communicate what he actually wants. So he would show us his cup and say more or the empty bowl or point to whatever he would like to have. It is amazing to have a child who is actually communicating. He can say quite a few words when you ask him to, and he says "hi" when people leave, but this is really the first word he is using consequently to communicate with.
The tiny one is still cute, but he can't really do a whole lot, and nothing new have happened there. He eats, sleeps, fills his diaper and looks at the world with great wonder. Which is pretty much what he has done since he was born.
And finally, today as we got ready for church Samuel was sitting looking at a book in the couch. He was already dressed in a t-shirt and pants. When he saw Mike putting on his shirt, he crawled off the couch and went into the kitchen. A little while later he came back with his own little shirt which he gave to me. He wanted to wear it. When he saw Mike putting on his shirt, he must have decided that he wanted to wear his too, so he went out and found it in his drawers. I thought that was very sweet - and naturally he wore his shirt for church!
