Today

Today is a special day here in our house.

You know why?

Let me give you a hint.


Samuel turned two today.

We celebrated all day!

We started out with breakfast; oatmeal and american pancakes with blueberries or chocolate and chocolate milk.


Samuel crawled up on his chair and approximately 3.5 seconds later he had spotted the chocolate milk and gotten hold of it ...


and grabbed a cup for it.

Samuel loves chocolate milk if you hadn't figured that out.


Chocolate milk and gifts. Does life get any better?

After breakfast the gifts were opened.


Notice the little chocolate milk moustache.

And the gifts were tested - and approved.


More gifts were opened.


And tested and approved.


Untill all the gifts were opened


And Samuel was happily playing with all his new toys on the floor.

We then packed our bags and went to a play group at a nearby second hand store. There were a lot of other kids and Samuel had a great time playing with all the toys there.

Afterwards it was time for a little nap for the entire family. Celebrating a birthday can be exhausting.


We then had one of Samuels favorite treats; homemade smoothie with yoghurt, blueberries, strawberries, and bananas.

This is one happy boy! And no, I don't know why he had to drink from both the orange and the blue cup, and I don't know why he insisted on having his hood on.




And here he is with a smoothie moustache.



Then it was time for some more playing with all the new toys. And then Samuel got a nice long bath, which is one of his favorite things to do.




Afterwards we had dinner and then some jumping in our bed, followed by looking at some books and then Samuel happily went to his bed.

I think he likes being 2.

And what was the tiny one doing today? Basicly sleeping and eating. I also took pictures of him, but this is the best one.


I'll try and get some better ones tomorrow!
