Mike and Joshua
I still have a little cold, but it is getting better. The last few days I have left behind a trail of cough drop wrapping and kleenex. Mike have been running around picking up after me. He nearly had a break down. It was lovely!
Yesterday I felt pretty good and I went with my friends (also known as the crafting club) to a big fabric store in Roskilde. It was like being in heaven. And to make it better; Mike had both kids at home, so I could focus 100% on the fabrics there. Even then we managed to spend almost 2 hours shopping.
Today I stayed home from church, blowing my nose and coughing so loudly that I woke up both kids from their midday naps. Yes, I was pretty proud. But fortunately I was armed with my new yarn, crafting books, a pom pom maker (how did I ever get by without one?) and knitting needles. That made it better. Fabrics are just magical that way!
Speaking of which, the Danish word for fabrics and for drugs is the same word. A coinsidence - I think not. At least it describes pretty well my relationship with fabrics.
If you are wondering what this post have to do with the picture above, then there is no connection. I just took the picture this morning and I think they both look adorable.
And if you are wondering why I am writing about having a cold and visiting the fabric store, then I have to dissapoint you and say that there is no real good explanation. I just felt like it. I blame it on the cold making me act weird.
