My trip to Heaven

A few days ago I had a perfect day. Just perfect!

It included these lovelies:

Yes, pink china is the first step towards a perfect day, as you all know.

The kids and I went to a fair called "My Home is My Castle". We went there with my lovely sister who had gotten off from work early just to go with us. Just as we entered the fair, Mike called to tell me the one project he was working on had been cancelled so he now had the rest of the day off. 10 minutes later he was at the fair with us. Yay!

Some of my favorite people, a sunny day, surrounded by beautiful things. Life really is great.

Loads of beautiful flower arrangements.

A live peacock. Apparently Samuel got a little scared of it, but I don't blame him. It was huge.

A bunny head? A monster with flowers? I am not really sure what it is, but I must say I do like it.

Samuel apparently felt this was the perfect spot for a refreshing drink. He puzzles me.

I want everything from this tent - so far I got the man and the funky skirt hanging to the far left. I love both!

Anne wanted this lamp. I can't say that I blame her. It was cute. My inner princess got all excited.

Samuel also found some things he liked.

And being the gentleman he is, he carried the things we had bought.

Yes, let's just pretend that that was all we got there.

Suffice to say that it was really good that we had brought the buggy with us. I don't know what I am going to do when I no longer need the buggy. It will be a great loss.

When we had spent all our money and were ready for some food we found a nearby cafe and had dinner. My sister and me each had a burger. Mike had a fruit salad.

Isn't it normally the other way around?

Psst, can I show you something? I saw this little thing at the fair just as we were leaving. I think it might just be one of the coolest things I have ever seen.

Cupcakes. I love cupcakes.

So does Samuel by the way. He ate those two in a matter of seconds and ended up with a rather funky looking pink mustache.

They look cool, huh? But do you want to see the really cool thing about them?

They GLITTER! GLITTERY cupcakes. How AWESOME is that? It is EDIBLE GLITTER. OHHHH!

... all this excitement, I think I might just have to lay down for a little while.
