A day of blessings

Yesterday I had a less than great day.

That is at least the very diplomatic description. In reality, I did, however, have a plain horrible day. The kind where you just want to crawl into your bed, pull up the covers and stay there.

As I went to bed last night, I prayed, I pleaded and I begged for things to change.


And today my prayers were answered. Heavenly Father works really fast.

And he answered my prayers with great friends, a husband, two happy children, a crafting club, a hug,


a trip to the zoo, and


a smile


They were answered by Samuel falling in love with the polarbear,


and the crane too,


with Magnus being adorable,

And they were ansvered by a friend letting me have a nap while she played with my children, another friend keeping me company while I did the dishes, and for a conversation where I once more remembered how truly blessed we are, and by a third friend helping me clear out some things in our house, and for good company when I needed it.


Just looking at this makes things a little better.


Actually this was a great, great day!

I am so grateful for friends, for my family and for a heavenly Father, who answers prayers so readily.

Life really is pretty good!
