It was just a miniature birthday party

Yesterday we celebrated Magnus' birthday once more. It was a little bit of a recycling party - we reused the cake, and we even reused a guest, my sister. But we had a great time.

Lisbeth, our favorite babysitter, brought a penguin for little Magnus. It is so adorable, that I want it to be in my bed.

Magnus seems to be quite smitten by it too.

We did potato prints and painted, played with all the toys and just enjoyed each others company. It was a nice, quiet, fun day.

I promise we'll do something big next year, or at least bigger. But okay, a birthday party with two guests - it can almost only get bigger next year. But somehow this small party seemed to fit us this year.

And next year we might even let the birthday boy stay up for the birthday cake ; )
