The dangerous crocodiles .. grrrr |
Magnus checking out the monkeys. He was quite fascinated |
And so was Samuel. |
Magnus was pretty relaxed with the whole experience, while Samuel really enjoyed the monkeys. He did however also like the other animals, he was especially sorry that the tiger weren't out the first time we went by their area.
Even though, and I am slightly embaressed to say this, he kept referring to them as Tigger, a character from Winnie the Pooh.
Oh, and I cut Samuels hair. As you can see on the picture above it was very needed.
The day after the zoo trip I got him up from his nap, cut his hair on a whim on the changing table and then realised he would probably need a bath to get all the hair off. Ran the bath, managed to soak myself in the proces, and got Magnus up. Put Samuel in the bath. Made smoothie while Magnus crawled around and enjoyed himself. Sun was shining through the windows and it was nice and cozy. Samuel was happy as can be in the bath, especially when I gave him a smoothie to drink. Magnus sat on my lap and drank a cup of smoothie before he returned to play with Samuels bathwater.
When I finally got Samuel out of the bathtub, he was clean, Magnus was soaked, and Samuels fingers looked like this.
But strangely enough it was one of those great, great afternoons that I hope I will remember for ever.
