I may once or twice have mentioned a sore back, maybe in a slightly bitter tone. So there is no need to bring it up again other than to say, I have fallen behind with the whole christmas thing.
I did my best, but there have been certain things missing this christmas. Like christmas cards. Yes, you not receiving a card is nothing personal. No one is getting one this year. Another thing missing is advent calenders for the kids. Had it not been for my lovely, lovely friend who bought my kids 6 gifts, there would have been none. None! No chocolate advent calender gift either. No speciel wreath for advent with four candles. Not even close.
But we have managed to do some things, which I think are pretty nice - and my back is better, much better, so I have high hopes for the last week before christmas.
My gift-giving friend and me baked cookies with our kids. Samuel decorated these.
And apparently also tasted them.
I got christmas decorations up. And I do love them - and I'll spare you pictures of each one.
And saint Nicklaus came to visit on the 6th, leaving treats for us in our boots.
Samuel keeps asking why Nicklas gave us things. I guess the fact that it is also his middlename makes it even harder for him to grasp it. But he didn't seem to worried about it as he was drinking his dragonfruit juice in approximately 2 seconds. Thank you, Nicklas!
We made invitations for all Samuels and Magnus' friends to invite them to a day of treat making. All the kids had a blast - and the adults too.
Some of the things were very pretty ...
And some less than pretty.
But all of it was tasty!
Samuel working his magic with the chocolate melter. He has such a blast.
My two favorite boys chiling in Samuels bed. Please notice Samuels fake sleeping.
And other important stuff -
Magnus is doing 3 word sentences. He is ruling the world, and he is loving it.
Samuel is still in his "Why" phase, and I sort of love it. I love that he is curious, and I am very grateful, that he knows when to stop. I do think it is funny, that he has asked the question "why" so many times, that Magnus have picked up on it. Sometimes Magnus comes up to me, looks me square in the eyes and says "why". I really don't know what to answer.
It feels like much more is going on, but I seem to have forgotten it. Just know that the kids are doing good. They are growing, learning, talking, laughing, doing laundry, eating, talking some more, asking questions, helping me with back exercises, saying "sorry", sleeping, baking bread, taking naps, riding the train, drawing and being happy.
Mike and me are doing good too. I'll skip the list of our activities. Mikes would be mainly work, and mine sounds pretty much like the kids. Not a bad life at all.
