And so here goes. And this time even with pictures.
It is going to be great!
I will of course post more later, with detailed stories of their birthdays, pictures from it, and tons of other stuff. But for now just enjoy these small people.
Magnus on his birthday, wearing the teddybear backpack he just got.
We had a few snowy days which were very, very cold. So Samuel got an extra layer of clothes on. However, getting it on yourself can be tricky!
Winnie the Pooh. Wore it for three days straight. I am still surprised he didn't insist on sleeping with it on.
Oh, and the weird face he is making, is his smile.
This picture is from today. Sometimes taking a little time out in your parents bed is the best thing to do. Come to think of it, I sometimes wish I could do the same.
I so love the little hand under his chin.
So yes, the kids are both very much alive and well. We are still renovating the tiny space we call our kitchen. The last week was spent trying to hang up shelves. For reasons that are not interesting enough to share we had to go to the hardware store 4 or 5 times to get random stuff we needed to get the shelves up. So today in our 4th attempt at hanging them up, we finally managed to get two of them up. It only took us two hours or so - and a visit to the hardware store naturally. I am not fit for DIY. Not at all! But I am fit for baking and cooking in my soon-to-be brand new kitchen, so we will continue our many visits to the hardware store and our constantly growing selection of screws and screwdrivers.
This is an exciting life, ladies and gentlemen! So stay put for pictures of our new kitchen. They should be here in a month or two when we finally manage to get the last shelf up.
Fingers crossed.
