Elderflower cordial

How to use 5 kilos of sugar, you might ask?

Take our little family and add 3 members of the crafting club. Arm them with plastic bags and scissors and place them in a park filled with elder flowers. Leave them there for an hour or two.

We did just that yesterday. When we left the park, Samuel and Mike had done a thorough test of the playground, Magnus had taken a little cross country tour with Lisbeth, and Stine, Anne and me each carried a few bags filled with elderflowers.

The smell of the flowes! Ah, fabulous.

Now 2 pots and 1 bowl are filled with an interesting concoction that will, hopefully become tasty elderflower cordial.

I can hardly wait.
