Nathalies Birthday

Mrs. Nathalie. The one and only!

Samuel, Nathalie and Maria.

She turned another year and celebrated her big day here in Copenhagen.

We started out with a tour of the canals. An absolute hit with Samuel who spent most of the tour standing on my lab looking out over the sea.

"This is your captain speaking!"

We brought his windmill.

Prfft. Prfft.

We also enjoyed the beautiful scenery with a great mixture of modern apartments, a naval base, new architecture and the old classics.

Like this castle, Amalienborg, where the queen lives. In the back you can see the marble church.

After the tour we walked through town to go to the Hard Rock Cafe where we had the birthday dinner. I had dropped of Samuel before the dinner - even though there would have been more than plenty of food for him.

Hungry, guys?

My sister and me who had been there before knew what to expect, so we shared a salad and a starter.

It sounds very humble, but I can assure you we left the place feeling full and very content.

We finished off the birthday celebration with cake at Monas house. Oh, and our little Nathalie also got a gift.

A pair of earrings too pretty to put on this blog. Pictures might appear later, so consider yourself warned.

After I saw them I suddenly felt compelled to start wearing earrings again. lovely lovely little things!

Thank you, Nathalie, for a wonderful day - well, and for being born in the first place. I have always greatly enjoyed your company.
