This is our life ...
My little baby. All grown up.
We ate it!
Random facts about cucumbers and me:
We ate our first cucumber sliced with a sour cream dressing on the side.
The other cucumber was simply put in a salad. Samuel helped cut that one, and it looked very creative.
They have flowers on the one end. Bright yellow flowers. I never knew that.
So far we've harvested two, and another five are growing on the plant.
I feel slightly guilty that I ate my little baby cucumber.
Cucumbers can spread over several meters - both horizontally and vertically - I never knew that either. If I had known I might not have bought the very innocent looking 15 cm. tall plant.
I am slightly allergic to cucumbers.
Aren't you glad I shared this information with you?
Moving on ...
Samuel and me baked a chocolate cake. As you all know he is in training to become a master chef. This day we practicced chocolate cutting.
And you naturally have to taste everything you make. It is quality checking!
Samuel is excellent at that.
Last week we went to the beach and on the way there Samuel picked a beautiful blue flower.
I thought it was lovely, getting all girly. I suddenly imagined him picking wild flowers and us putting them in a vase on the table. I could almost feel the white tablecloth ...
when Samuel very determined threw the flower on the ground,
and stepped on it.
I better get used to playing with cars!
Samuel loved it at the beach.
He would put his fingers in the sand, then slightly panic that they were now covered in sand, run to the water to clean the fingers - and then turn around and do it again and again.
He still puzzles me.
Random fact: Samuels swimshorts have crocodiles on them. Surfing crocodiles. Bet you never saw that before.
Cuddling up with daddy.
I am not sure who enjoyed it the most.
Samuel showing me he can close his eyes.
How cute is this kid?
Speaking of cute ...
We do make cute babies!
And speaking of Magnus ... not much have happened the last few days as Magnus seems to need a diaper change more or less all the time!
I am sure it could be much worse, but last night at 4 am it seemed pretty bad. At 4.30 am it was horrible. At 6 am I was pretending I wasn't his mother, and instead I woke up Mike.
He also seemed to think it was horrible!
