I am actually not that kind of person to tell of her new hairdo, show no pictures and then leave for a week long vacation.
I was planning to post pictures of the hairdo. I was planning to do a lot of things. But I got sick.
It was horrific!
I'll spare you the details. Count yourself lucky, because the details weren't pretty. Fortunately I am more or less back on track.
Two days ago I was laying out in the garden watching the sun set through the trees. My sister had helped me take a shower (yes, it was so bad that showering was too much for me), had gotten me dressed and gotten out a sunbed for me so I could lay comfortably there in the garden. As it got colder my sister wrapped me in a blanket. My brother made a fire to keep us warm.
My dad had walked Magnus in order to calm him. Anne had changed his diapers. My nephews had played with Samuel. Conni and my brother had cooked dinner for everyone and cleaned of the table afterwards.
Laying there in the garden I thought of how grateful I am for my family. How they help, worry about you and take care of you. Families are such a wonderful thing! And I am fortunate to have them.
My other thought was on how much I dislike being sick. I wish it was something a little more noble, but honestly that stomach flu really got me. And I don't like it.
The almost-back-to-normal me
