There are just a few more pictures I can't wait to show you, and then I promise there will be no more talk about the amazing summerhouse ... 2 min from the beach ... with a big garden! *Sigh* I can't wait till next year!
Okay, so we also checked out a the animal life while we were there.
Samuel was very fascinated by these two dogs who were playing catch and swimming. That is definitly not something you see every day here.
I was very fascinated by this one. It sat on the wall of the summerhouse one day we returned home from an outing. I actually wanted to do a picture even closer - until I realised that would mean I'd have to get closer to it. It was pretty darn big!
One of the days we went to the beach, my sister and my dad decided to join us. My dad even felt brave enough to go for a swim, and Mike and him agreed that is was very refreshing.
This was how my sister, Anne, looked after she tested the temperature with her feet. Maybe a little too refreshing!
But after a while she also liked it. In the background you can see my dad and Mike.
Samuel also had a great time at the beach, first in the big sandbox ...
and afterwards sitting on his aunts arm. She kindly gathered some stones, carried him out in the water on her arm and held him while he threw all the stones into the water. He was basicly in heaven!
The last evening we were at the summerhouse we decided to go out for dinner since no one could be bothered to make dinner. The restaurant was called Cafe Casablanca, and it turned out that it also doubled as a store with clothes and little things for the house that was imported from Marocco.
We all liked it there!
Finally, how can you not love a place like this?
