HE IS HERE!

Finally the little one have arrived. We are so excited and happy and joyful - and tired and exhausted!

wednesday morning I woke up at 3.30 with contractions ... crazy, evil, bad bad bad contractions. At 4.00 Mike was awake and we had called Lisbeth, our babysitter for Samuel and my sister, who was going to be at the birth.

At 5.00 we were at the hospital ready for action. Or ... okay, I wasn't that ready for action. I just wanted to sleep a few extra hours and be painfree!

He was born at 9.28 in the morning. We had an appointment to have the birth started at 10.00 the same day, so it seems that he just needed a deadline before he came out.

The birth was without any complications and the midwife called me a "super birther". I am not sure whether she was just being polite, because I seem to recall shouting at her ... and maybe a few other things.

He weighs 3604 grams, measures 52 cm and is naturally absolutely adorable. Wanna see proof?

Yes, that was a rhetoric question!

Mother and dad admiring the little one.

Being measured and weighed.

Posing for the camera.

The tiny one and me had to stay at the hospital because my blood pressure was a little too high.

So these two pictures are from the hospital.

Laying in daddys arms. Everything is all right now.

After a few hours the blood pressure had fallen and we could go home.

Meanwhile Samuel was sitting at home enjoying the undivided attention of his babysitter, super Lisbeth.

One of his favorite toys; Lisbeths phone. It's got radio, video camera and camera and well, you can also call people on it. He is totally in love with it.

We arrived home just before Samuel went to bed, and he was very excited about the little person we brought home with us.

But you can only spend that much time looking at a new little brother. After a little while he grabbed a hold of Mikes finger and pulled him towards the lego bricks for a little tower-building before bedtime.

Resting after a long, hard day.

The day after my nephews, sister and my dad came for a little visit to see the little new one, play with Samuel and just relax and enjoy a few hours in good company.

The three men in my life!
