While we wait ...

On Christmas morning when I was a child, there was a tv-programme called "While we wait". I would often watch this as it distracted me from the looong wait till evening when the nice dinner would be served, and more importantly when we could open our gifts.

Now, waiting for the tiny one to come into our family, I miss a programme like that. Something that can keep me distracted while I wait and wait and wait ...

Instead we make puzzles, read books - some with a few words and many illustrations, and some with many words and no illustrations, we have lunch, the men went out running around the frozen lakes, I napped with Samuel, we bought milk and extra diapers and most importantly Lego towers were built by the little one and his daddy.




With a full programme like that, the wait is not so bad after all.
