On an average day like today

Today I loaded up the buggy with one mr. Joshua and one mr. Samuel and then we headed downtown. Our destination was the library.

The library is close to my old university and I used to go there often. But I haven't been there the last few years. The library have been renovated and everything looked shiny, modern and new. I couldn't find my way anymore. Samuel who have been there a few times with his dad felt completely at ease. When we had found the right floor, He went over to the shelves, picked out a book and crawled up on a chair and started leafing through the book. When he was done, he got another book out.

It felt strange that this little person, my boy, was so comfortable there, and I felt a little lost. I thought it would have been the other way around.

We checked out books with tractors and cars in, cds with childrens music and a few books for me.

Joshua relaxed in the buggy, sleeping most of the time. It was easy to have him with us which was nice. I tend to worry whenever I go somewhere new on my own with both kids.

We walked home through town with the sun shining down on us. Samuel wore his sunglasses.

It was a nice day and I am so happy that I have those two little humans in my life, sweet, funny Samuel who talks all the time, loves to jump and crawl, and is deeply in love with anything with wheels and ever-smiling Joshua with his soft fluffy hair and soft skin and that amazing babysmell, wearing his Cookie Monster t-shirt. It doesn't get much better than that!
