Memories of sunny days

Today it was raining. Again.

I am not a big fan of rain, especially not when it includes me being outside with the kids. When it rains I prefer to not go anywhere. Since it has been raining pretty much every day of the week, apart from Mikes birthday : ), we have been indoor a lot.

Mike have been working many, many, many hours this week. I have been getting up with Magnus way too early, spent the whole day at home with both kids and I need to get out now. Samuel needs to get out to. Desperately!

Fortunately plans are made for tomorrow, and unless there is a flood all four of us are leaving the apartment and going out. You know what, we might even leave if there is a flood. The situation is that critical!

But enough talk of rain, instead I am going to wallow in the memories of the last super sunny day. Which was, might I add, a fantastic day, well worth wallowing in.

Samuel and a dandelion.

Last Saturday we had a crafting day at our house. We didn't do as much crafting as we did talking, eating and enjoying each others company. That was just the way it should be.

We started out with a potluck brunch.

Fruit, bread, homemade rolls, bacon and scrambled eggs, greek yoghurt and cinnamon rolls.

Pancakes, mable syrup, homemade raspberry jam and peach/apple jam, homemade nutella, strawberry "koldskål" and raspberry suryp.

Tomato salad with mozzarella and homemade honey roasted muesli.

We all love food, can you tell?

My kids then took a little nap while all us girls went outside to enjoy the sun. When they woke up, they came down and joined the party downstairs.

The people present:

Stine, super sowing woman and superb goldsmith. Notice how she is crafting. We actually got some things done.

She was helping me make these.

I'll use them to make a fabric plant for Samuels room. Because how can any little boy live without a fabric plant?

Anne, awesome sister

Mike, marvellous husband

Lisbeth, lovely babysitter

My friend Mona and her two adorable girls, Hanna and Rebecca, was also there. But I have no pictures of them. I am so sorry. But fortunately you can check out Monas blog and see pictures of them.

Magnus, magnificent baby

You know what? He is so cute, I'll just put one more picture on.

And one of Magnus and me. I am not really sure what my facial expression is all about.

I am also not sure of what this is all about.

Any ideas?

However, these are pretty self-explanatory.

Hee hee!

Looking forward to many more sunny days to come!

That looks like great day! I vote that Samuel was break dancing in that picture.

It was a great day!

And yes, I agree with the break dancing - that is at least the best idea so far.
