Starting out small |
It is December! The christmas month. I am soo excited.
Christmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas!
And it even feels like christmas because there is snow. Lots of snow. And really long icicles picked by someones daddy.
You would think he, as a boy, would pretend he was a mightly knight and the icicle was his sword, or perhaps a pirate and challenge us to a duel.
No. Instead he licked on it. Should that worry me - or is it yet another sign that he is going to become a great chef?
I finished the calender gifts for my friends little girls. I think Samuel might like one of these pillows too.
See all pink, shiny fabric, small butterflies and beads.
I would actually like one myself. And I would have one had Mike not vetoed me. I would probably have had 10 or so had the veto not come. His veto was probably a good thing.
I am wondering whether I can take all the pinkiness and cuteness and condense into a brooch or something similar so you can always bring it with you. Sort of cuteness-to-go. Plus Mike wouldn't be able to veto that.
Anyway, while I was busy making calender gifts for my friends daughters, someone else was busy getting gifts for my boy.
Today he received some elfs he could paint.
Yup, that is not a sight you forget anytime soon. That is the stuff nightmares are made of.
The artist was very busy working on his creations. He was very caught up in it all,
The artist was very busy working on his creations. He was very caught up in it all,
in fact so caught up that he even started painting the elf I had been working on.
And in keeping with the creative process, we also started making the first christmas treats today, albeit in a slightly unconventional version. And I am only posting this due to several requests - well, two requests. But here it is
Skull-shaped Bethmännchen
Happy December 1st to you all!
