I seem to have lost my brain - around the time I became a mother

I used to be pretty clever, well-spoken, my clothes were clean, and I had a well-working life. A degree, a job even.

Then I had kids and I am pretty sure my brain fell out.

Child - with brain intact, but interesting bed-hair

So a few months ago ...

It had been a busy morning, and it seemed I was all over the place doing a load of different stuff. I grab a quick shower, while trying to make sure my kids don't hurt anything, or more importantly, anyone.

As I take my towel off the hook, I wonder why it is wet. No one has used it the last 24 hours.

Oh no, wait. Slowly I remember that I may just maybe have showered a little more recently than that. More like an hour earlier.

An hour earlier! How do you forget that kind of thing?

I told one of my friends this, and she laughed and laughed and laughed. Absolutely no sympathy!

A few days ago I make a quick call right before the same friend is coming over. When she arrives, my phone is gone. We look everywhere, and due to a bad coverage, she can't even call it. Later on I find it inside my make-up purse. Why?

Why would anyone put their phone there?

My friend had the time of her life ... again no sympathy from her.

And you know what? Later that day I found my powder in my fridge. I didn't tell my friend that ... that'll teach her not to give me any sympathy! HA!

Seriously! If you happen to see my brain, please give it back to me. I really need it before something really crazy happens!
