Samuel fell in love with a blue hat when we were out shopping a few days ago.
Did he need a new hat: No
Would his life be incomplete without this hat: Yes
Obviously we bought the hat for him. It has a car on it. How could I have said no?
It is a belated birthday gift from one of his grandparents. He is one lucky boy.
Is it just me or did he almost look like a teenager on that picture? He is just four years old. Four! And I think he should consider not growing any more.
And is it just me or did he look like he just fell off the moon on this picture? Still very cute though ...
And Magnus still loves animals. Here he is reading a book and pointing to every single animal in the book. Every single one of them!
The kids and I went for a walk today, and we must have seen 20 dogs or more. Still, each time he sees a dog, he is so excited. Even after dog no. 20. It was fascinating.
And I also want him to stop growing. Now! Right now he is the absolute perfect size. He is so cuddly, soft and warm and he fits perfectly into my arms. He finishes every sentence with a "mor", as in "no, mor", "yes, mor", "See, mor", "It hurts, mor". It is so cute, but every once in a while it gets a little old. Like when he tells me "no" 30 times in a row, and puts in a "mor" after each of those no's.
Another thing he does which I love, is if he is saying something immensely important, he will grab your head with his hands, turn your head so you are looking at him, so he is sure you are listening. Sometimes he will even bring his little head really close to yours.
*Sigh* He really have to stop growing now. I will miss a little man standing on the ground, lifting his arms up, saying "Op til mor" (up to mummy), or sitting on the kitchen table eating everything within sight. Cheese, corn, raisins and rice crackers are the most common ones, but he also tasted onions, which was not a hit and bacon, which was a huge hit and a million other things.
Unlike a certain older sibling which will remain nameless he is not a picky eater. He will eat almost anything. I love, love, love that. And everything is "morgenmad" (breakfast) to him, so whenever we are setting the table or cooking something, he refers to it as breakfast. Even if he is hungry during the day, he will ask for breakfast. Ah, all those little things that make up my little boy.
They are totally loveable.
Oh yes, a whole lot more is also happening, but nothing as important or exciting as these small people!
