Last night I watched this video.
It made me cry. And it reminded me of how important a mothers role is, that it is truly an eternal partnership with Heavenly Father.
Too often I loose sight of what I am really doing and the importance of it, and instead I get caught up in the trivia of the day to day things, like cooking, grocery shopping or diaper changing, nail cutting, lotioning and so on.
Today as Magnus' diaper was changed for the 5th time in 2 hours, I reminded myself once more of my important role as a mother.
As I set out to make my lunch, prepare dinner and do the rather big pile of dishes waiting for me in the kitchen, I reminded myself again. And while I tried to comfort a crying Samuel, so I could then go deal with the crying Magnus I almost caught myself chanting "an eternal partnership with Heavenly Father".
It seemed to work.
When I was standing at the grocery store, one kid did a sit down strike, the other pooped his pants, and both were screaming at the top of their lungs. Right there and then I forgot all about it.
Maybe I should write it on a t-shirt because I could definitly have used the reminder there.
