I was cutting Samuels hair today.
At the same time I was navigating the computer to make sure the kid was happily entertained with Postman Pat (the only way to make him sit completely still during a cutting session).
I had my cell phone between my shoulder and my ear, discussing what gift to buy for our 11-year old nephew.
It was multitasking big time!
For about 3 seconds I felt pretty awesome, super mummy-like, and then something horrible happened!
HORRIBLE!
I cut of a huge lock of hair, that wasn't supposed to be cut of. From the looks of it, it should have been attached to his head for many more months. It is now gone, forever!
It is bad. It is so bad that there are no pictures!
I was mortified. I even considered cutting all his hair off to hide it. It wouldn't work that well though. Now I am wondering whether to get some hair wax to style his hair, so the bare spot is covered.
How weird is it for a 2½ year old boy to use hair wax? You know, on a scale from 1 to ten?
A ten, you say?
*Sigh* Next time I'll pay for a real hair dresser.
