A while ago I told how the blog came to be. It was a riveting tale about uniting family members from all over the world ... or something like that.
I forgot to mention another very important reason behind creating this blog. This is also my journal and my landmarks for the little ones.
When they one day grow up they will be able to look through all these posts and see what happened in their childhood, when they did what and how utterly adorably and indescribably cute they were.
And this post is a landmark post. It may not be of the greatest interest to other people, actually that applies to most of the content here, but hopefully the two wee persons will one day enjoy it.
But for all you "other" people who made it this far, here is a little eye candy.
I hope you enjoyed that!
And for Samuel and Magnus.
I love, love, love you! You are adorable and charming little ones. I am so glad I am your mother and that I am able to spend so much time with you two. But even so I am surprised at how fast time flies.
Today I realised that once more. Today I put you, Magnus down on the ground so you could "crawl" around a little. When I looked again a little while later you were sitting up.
I didn't know you could do that. And I could tell from your daddys comments a few hours later, that you had done it again, and your daddy didn't know you could do that either.
You are so clever : ) Before I know it you will be walking, talking, finishing university, getting married and having kids of your own.
Please promise me that I can then have a sunday nap. I miss them so.
And Samuel, you can say so many things. You constantly surprise me with new words and small sentences. I love getting an idea of what goes on inside your head. I just know there is greatness in there.
And I think it is a good idea to focus on talking rather than action. Like all the action today when a small person threw a frisbee at another small persons head with crying and a bloody nose to follow, or the various violent incidents including red lego cars and a small persons head *bong, bong, bong* - again with crying as the result.
Yes, let's talk a little more. Today you told me the colours of your toys. Maybe tomorrow we can practice some sort of non-violent communication. I am sure 2½ years old is a good age to start that.
Thank you little people for letting me be your mother and for being so darn adorable!
