The Wedding

So my friend the talented law-super-person, Miss Law (soon to be Mrs. Bombguy), is getting married.

I am excited. Actually I am beyond excited!

I like a good party, and I LOVE the planning of the party. I could discuss party planning for hours and hours and hours. The food, the drinks, the treats, the decor - oh, the decor, the setting, the outfits, the invitations, center pieces.

Ahhh! The joy.

But because I am not one to hog all the joy and excitement, then look what I found ...

A ring pillow.

I am not sure anyone really uses them over here, but look how pretty it is.

From Emersonmade.com

I wouldn't mind one myself. I could put my wedding ring there, when I bake. Or Samuel could rest his little head on it, when he is tired. Or magnus could play with it.

I actually really, really need one.

A wedding also needs beautiful invitations.

Oh yes! I do love yellow.

And confetti bags.

I like the idea of confetti. Much nicer than rice.

I still remember finding rice grains in our apartment a year later. Yikes.

And we need some of these.

I honestly don't know what you use these for. But I do love them.

Apparently they are called escort flag. Aren't they cute? I think they look totally adorable.

A wedding need some cake.

I love the cake stand (not the cake though!). Once more an item that would fit right into our home.

What I could use it for?

I could totally use it to serve the kids' food. Wouldn't it look great with some sandwiches on the bottom tier? On the next one I could place some fruits and the next tier could be a biscuit for each.

What? Not a good idea?

Moving on then. A cake that I love.

It looks so purty!

If you feel like making it yourself, and I am sure that you do, then here are the intructions.

And finally - decorations.

Pompoms! LOVELY.

Click here for the instructions on how to make them.

They are awesome, right?

I want ten of them hanging in my livingroom. Oh, and ten in my bedroom.

Me like!
