Moving on to something different ....

Flags hanging over Samuels bed.

Mr. Elephant made by yours truly.

Do you know that feeling when you start a project, and you work at it, you work at it, you work at it, but you don't really feel that things are happening?

Yes? No?

Made from a discarded piece of a bookshelf.
We believe in recycling.

That is how I feel with the mini-medium-maxi-move. I greatly enjoy the changes we've done so far, but I've lost a little of the initial energy and excitement. There are still so many piles of things to sort out, things to be put away, moved or organized differently.

I guess I am not going to be bored any time soon!

A little while ago I felt like this about my crafting.

I love doing things with my hands. It relaxes me, and I enjoy seeing an item evolve from a little idea to the finished product. But I felt like I wasn't really doing any crafting. My to-do-project list was just getting longer and longer.

Growing to-do-lists are not very motivating. At all.

So to keep up the excitement - and to prove to myself that I actually do things - I took pictures of some of the projects I'd finished recently.

I made Bill, Samuels teddybear.
I also made Samuel, but that is another story.
Maybe I should do the same with my cupboards? I know I would totally love a picture of my cupboard full of neatly stacked color-coordinated fabric.

Is that very strange?

It is, isn't it?

Fabric just makes me happy, I have no explanation.

Anyway, while I consider taking pictures of my cupboards, I'll fill this post with proof that I at least get some crafting done.

I also made this guy, and I am so glad that I did. He was totally worth it.

And completely beside the point - his two upper front teeth came out today, totalling 5 teeth now.
I also did the pants. I love them and almost wish I had some my size.
