My mommy superpowers

Being a mom you have these superpowers, you sense things, you get promptings. It is almost like a 6th sense.

Allow me to show you some examples of these superpowers in action.

Exhibit A:

One afternoon a few days ago Samuel went into the wardrobe, got out his jacket, his hat and his shoes and put it all on.

My superpowers tell me that Samuel wanted to go outside and play. They also tell me that Samuel still has problems with the left and right shoe, as they are on wrongly.

Since I was pretty busy that day, I didn't have time to take him outside to play. He wore all his outdoor clothes an hour.

The mommy superpowers got this feeling - that is one warm kid right there.

Exhibit B:

This is a picture of our bed.

My awesome powers tell me that a little boy have been jumping in our bed. Since Magnus can't climb into the bed, it must be Samuel.

Pop quiz: Which duvet do you think is mine, and which one belongs to Mike? Yeah, maybe not that difficult ... moving on to ...

Exhibit C:

This is a very, very tired little boy. He also fell to sleep almost instantly when we put him to bed.

See, these superpowers are pretty cool, right? And they sure do come in handy at times.

But I have to admit, that right now my powers are not working - or maybe there just isn't anything I can do. Because today we said goodbye to the last of Samuels pacifiers and so this is his first night without them. I wish the mommy superpowers could help him right now, but this time I think only time will work.

Wish us luck.
