Between you and me, I am completely terrified just thinking about my two tired kids tomorrow. Unfortunately Mike has one of the last days at school, so I am on my own with the two boys.
What to do?
I need to call in some sort of reinforcement or a special task force!
And on a pretty unrelated topic.
Magnus can now say like an elephant and as a pig. Both of which are absolutely awesome. I even made him do it today as entertainment at the birthday party. Yup, he is that good!
Samuel and me had a discussion today when they were having a bath. I had put shampoo in his hair and was getting ready to rinse it out. However, the little man told me not to, because he wanted to get the shampoo out himself, using with his hands.
Huh?
Picture a little boy in his bathtub frantically combing through his hair with his fingers, getting all the foam out, rinsing off his hands and repeating over and over. I told him it wasn't going to work, but he just didn't believe me. How do you explain those things to a small guy?
And today when we walked home from the party, we passed by a big bonfire by the lakes. It is part of the Danish celebration of midsummer. All the way home Samuel kept begging us to show him the fire trucks!
Firetrucks? What firetrucks?
I finally connected the dots and told him that even though there was a fire there wasn't any firetrucks. He did not believe me, and I can't blame him. How do you explain such things?
And again, completely unrelated, but none the less cute, cute pictures of our darling boys and one handsome husband.

Magnus loves, loves, loves his daddy - and the feeling is mutual! |
